Our History

Our History S.C. Atelierele CFR Grivita S.A is a company with a long history in passenger coach repairs, modernization and rebuilding. The plant has been established in 1897 and was specialized in steam engines and passenger coach repairs. Over the years we have improved our technology and expertise, achieving a present top position among coach repair companies, covering home and international passenger coaches with special regime, sleeping coaches, restaurant coaches, saloon coaches, historic trains and administrative staff coaches.

New Projects

IN 2011, SC "Atelierele CFR Griviţa" SA has started scheduled maintenance repairs on freight cars type Uagps, Uapps, Tals and Fals. For this kind of repairs we have obtained technical certifications according to Ministry of Transportation order no. 290/2000.

In 1997 Certificate Series CL Nr. 009/24.04.1997 emitted by REFER.
In 1999 Certificate Series CS Nr. 003/16.07.1999 emitted by AFER.
